In response to the recent developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, our sites are implementing measures to ensure the health, safety, and security of our staff, investigators, visitors, and study participants. We are complying with the consensus guidelines published by the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, California Department of Public Health, and the Los Angeles County of Public Health. We are taking the following precautionary steps:

• Prescreen individuals for COVID-19 symptoms over the phone prior to clinic visits
• Repeat COVID-19 screening questionnaire and take temperature with a no contact infrared thermometer prior to entering the clinic on the day of visit
• Provide staff with personal protective equipment
• Have hand soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectants readily available
• Provide study participants with masks if needed
• Sanitize all working areas and medical instruments before and after each visit
• Enforce physical distancing by limiting the number of staff and study subjects concurrent in the clinic
